Main duties of the job

What is required from you?
* A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
* This is a full‑time position, working 36 hours per week, to include alternate weekends
* Must be flexible to work 6‑hour and 12‑hour shifts
* Experience is preferred
A day in the life of a Care Assistant
* Companionship – Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
* Personal care – supporting with a wash bath or shower and assisting the client with dressing and oral care
* Medication – prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
* Meals – supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
* Domestic tasks – light cleaning tasks
* Mobility – supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility
* Social activities – trips out, social engagements and activities within the home

Qualifications
* No specific qualifications are required, but experience in the care sector is preferred.
