Elevation Senior Finance are looking to recruit a talented
Head of Finance
to join the leadership team of a successful SME business within the service sector.
The role will be based in Chesterfield with the benefit of hybrid working. As Head of Finance, you'll lead a talented finance team and work closely with the Executive Board. Acting as a trusted partner, you'll provide critical insights, positive challenge, and guidance that enables smart decision-making and supports the long-term success of the business.
In this role, you will:
* Lead and develop a small Finance Team
* Partner with the Executive Board, providing insights and guidance
* Oversee financial control, reporting, budgets, audits, and compliance
* Drive process improvements, digital tools, and automation
* Support strategic growth through modelling, forecasting, and profitability analysis
Key skills / qualifications:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong technical knowledge (UK GAAP, audit, VAT, payroll, tax)
* Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially astute, proactive, and confident presenting to Boards
