Job Role: Support Worker
Location: Cwmllynfell (SA9)
Pay Rate: £13.20 – £13.90 per hour
About Rosewood: Based in the village of Cwmllynfell, surrounded by the Brecon Beacons National Park. We have four gentlemen with a variety of needs, including autism and learning disability. Rosewood offers a quiet and calm environment – a rewarding place to work. Staff will support the individuals with personal daily needs and activities, and help them engage in community outings (cinema, bowling, eating out, shopping).
Responsibilities
* Support day‑to‑day care and routine of the people we support
* Promote independence and a fulfilling life
* Encourage development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
* Assist with health‑care needs, including accompanying to appointments or administering medication
* Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping
* Assist with personal care as needed
* Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking
* Provide guidance, encouragement and emotional support
