Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Hospital Management Administration Team in the Borders General Hospital. We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced clerical team leader who is also a skilled personal assistant, with an eye for detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines. The post holder should have previous line management experience. The post holder must also be extremely organised, have excellent communication skills, and work to a high degree of accuracy. They must be able to prioritise and multi-task competing demands when necessary to produce work of a very high standard.
Responsibilities
* Provide clerical team leadership and act as a skilled personal assistant.
* Manage and coordinate administrative workflows to meet strict deadlines.
* Supervise, support, and develop administrative staff.
* Ensure high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
* Prioritise competing demands and multi-task to deliver timely, quality work.
Qualifications and requirements
* Previous line management experience.
* Extremely organised with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
