With continued growth in their Leeds office, we’re looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join their expanding team and contribute to a wide portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and public-sector developments.
Role
As a Civil Engineer, you will support the delivery of civil engineering design packages across all stages of a project. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and clients to produce practical, cost-effective engineering solutions that meet the highest technical and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare civil engineering designs, including highways, drainage, levels, and external works.
Produce detailed calculations, technical reports, and design drawings.
Work with colleagues to deliver coordinated designs across disciplines.
Liaise with clients, local authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
Assist in the management of projects from feasibility through to construction.
Contribute to quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
About you
Essential:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Experience within a civil engineering consultancy environment.
Understanding of design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, or similar.
Strong technical knowledge of highways and drainage design.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
Working toward IEng/CEng with ICE.
Experience in client-facing roles.
Knowledge of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and current UK design standards.
