Join the Team at North Oxford Garage - Trainee Wheel Technician Wanted!
Are you passionate about cars and keen to kickstart a career in the automotive industry? North Oxford Garage is looking for a motivated and hands-on Trainee Wheel Technician to join our busy Used Vehicle Preparation Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience, learn from skilled professionals, and develop a rewarding career with a respected name in the motor trade. Hours of work: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the refurbishment of alloy wheels as part of the used vehicle preparation process
* Safely remove and refit wheels, ensuring tyres are inflated and torqued to manufacturer specifications
* Reset any TPS (Tyre Pressure Sensor) systems as required
* Work closely with the Preparation Centre Manager and Coordinators to keep vehicles on schedule for handover and meet all SLA requirements
* Always maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with Health & Safety standards
What We're Looking For:
* A keen interest in automotive work and a willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* A proactive and professional attitude
* No previous experience necessary - full training will be provided
