Job Summary
As a Project Manager in Central Functions, you will work collaboratively with other change professionals to realise business benefits through delivery of strategic projects in our portfolio, covering Finance, People and Culture, Compliance, Risk, and more. You will have an agile mindset, ensuring delivery is value‑based, outcome‑driven, and aligned to the programme vision. Passion for change and a desire to make a difference are essential.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
* Experience in project and change delivery using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
* Strong understanding of business change management and implementation of people, process, and systems change.
* Forward‑thinking with experience in planning, forecasting, and risk management.
* Demonstrated problem‑solving and impediment removal skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management with influence at all levels.
* A growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Ability to manage a budget, including forecasting and estimating.
* Experience managing suppliers.
* Understanding of IT systems development lifecycle.
* Support for the Access to Work scheme is available for eligible candidates.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications
* Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage knowledge.
* Project, Agile, or Business Change Management qualifications (e.g., APM – PMQ, Scrum/SAFE, PROSCI) – advantageous but not essential.
* Leadership experience.
* Experience within Insurance/Financial services – beneficial but not essential.
