This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Are you passionate about protecting human rights and driving ethical standards across global supply chains? In this pivotal role, you'll bring Kingfisher's Human Rights policy to life, championing responsible practices that strengthen customer trust, enable sustainable growth, and support our Sustainability, Sourcing, Quality and Legal teams. Working collaboratively with colleagues across Kingfisher and our Banner (B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama etc) teams, you'll help deliver our Responsible Sourcing Strategy for Human Rights and Ethical Sourcing, ensuring our products are made with integrity every step of the way.


What's the job?

* Implement the Kingfisher Ethical Compliance Programme across Electrical, Tools and Hardware categories(this category may change), including maintaining due‑diligence processes and supporting associated policy requirements.
* Prioritise and manage the ethical supplier audit programme, coordinating with external audit providers, supporting Buying Offices with supplier onboarding, and overseeing post‑audit corrective action plans.
* Deliver training and support to internal teams and vendors to enable effective implementation of the Ethical Compliance Programme.
* Identify key issues, trends and solutions in Responsible Sourcing and ethical factory management, providing expert guidance across Offer & Sourcing and Banner teams.
* Lead Sustainability KPI reporting, including monthly and annual updates, and conduct analysis to support performance monitoring.
* Support rollout and governance of key tools and processes, including the Everyone's Business reporting tool, and contribute to the development of related processes and procedural documentation.

What you'll bring

* Proven experience in ethical trade, responsible sourcing, or human rights compliance.
* Working knowledge of Sedex, SMETA, Amfori BSCI and EcoVadis, with audit training or experience considered an advantage.
* Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently across internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent IT capability, including advanced Excel skills (Power Query desirable) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
* Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and identify insights.
