Working as a Fabric Engineer, you will play a key role within the facilities management team, carrying out a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a busy university estate. This is a varied, multi-skilled role where you will be involved in general fabric repairs, basic plumbing, painting and wider maintenance tasks, as well as supporting other trades when required. The successful candidate must have proven painting and fabric repair experience. This role requires a flexible, customer-focused approach, with the ability to respond to a wide range of maintenance issues, support contractors on site, and help maintain clean, safe and well-presented facilities. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, managing your workload effectively while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
