Working as anOut of Hours Care Coordinator, you will be based from ourGateshead (Felling)offices although you would be responsible for theSouth Shields, Boldon and Fellgateareas.
Role is to work every"OTHER" SaturdayandSunday"ONLY"and the shift times are6am to 2pmand2pm to 1030pmon a rotational basis(paid at £14.50 per hour)
Optional extra days / hoursare available during the week(as a Home Care Worker)which is optional(paid at £13.90 per hour)
Afull UK driving licenseandaccess to your own vehicleisESSENTIALfor this role.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role is required
* Full UK driving license and access to your own car (Essential)
* Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Essential)
* Monday to Friday working 9am to 5pm - you will be required to work 1 in every 4 weekends
* Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business
Job Description
* Compiling rotas for care workers
* Assigning care workers to customers, whilst working within our standards
* Understanding, organising and recording the availability of all new care workers
* Working closely and communicating with other members of the team, professional bodies and family members to ensure the highest quality of care
* Managing customer visits and arranging reviews and quality checks
* Accepting, allocating and processing referrals for new care packages
* Accepting and processing changes and amendments to existing care packages
* Managing customer visits and arranging reviews and quality checks
* Monitoring quality through ECM records and weekly KPI reports
* Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and those around you by following company Health and Safety and other related policies at all times.
* Assess, report and record any hazards and risks which may affect the health and safety of yourself and those around you.
* Lead by example by promoting and encouraging staff to follow company policies and procedures.
