Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to work as Teaching Assistants across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in the Bolton and Bury areas. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are considering a future career in teaching and are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The role involves assisting with lesson delivery, supporting pupils' learning in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, and helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
This role is ideal for graduates who are passionate about education, child development and making a difference in young learners' academic and personal growth.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils
Assisting with behaviour management and classroom organisation
Supporting pupils with different learning abilities and needs
Helping to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
A university degree (any subject considered)
Experience working with children (school, tutoring, coaching, childcare or youth work) is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, patient and enthusiastic attitude
A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
