We are currently seeking a committed and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a specialist or mainstream setting in Enfield. This is a highly rewarding role for someone passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The Role:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs
2. Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
3. Helping pupils engage with learning and develop confidence
4. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
5. Creating a safe, supportive and structured learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
6. Have experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or additional needs
7. Be patient, calm, and emotionally resilient
8. Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
9. Be passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
10. Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
