Overview
We are looking for a compassionate, proactive and highly organised Mental Health Lead to play a vital role in supporting people experiencing mental ill health to maintain safe, secure accommodation and build more stable, independent lives. You will work with a person-centred and strengths-based approach to support individuals in an empowering, respectful way focused on long-term wellbeing. Our Charity: Established in 1972, P3 Charity is a modern, forward-thinking organisation providing support services to people facing social exclusion across the UK. We offer a wide range of services including homelessness prevention, supported housing, mental health support, community advice, hoarding support and services for young people.
Working pattern and base
Hours per week: 37.5 hours. Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Work base: office based with regular travel.
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored key worker support to people with mental health and housing-related needs to sustain tenancies, develop independent living skills and move forward with confidence.
* Complete assessments, co-produce support and safety plans, and advocate on behalf of individuals.
* Collaborate with local authorities, landlords, mental health services and community agencies to ensure joined-up support.
* Build trusted relationships with clients while managing a varied workload and upholding equality, diversity and empowerment.
Requirements and qualifications
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Experience in supporting vulnerable adults, with empathy, resilience and strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
