We are looking for a Project Environmental Advisor to join our team, working for a leading EPC company near Newcastle.

The role of Project Environmental Advisor will provide advice, guidance, and coaching to the Project Team. This will include completing inspections, advisory reports, incident investigations, feedback, and briefings to sites.
Responsible for the successful delivery of construction environmental management and compliance for the entire project, reporting to the Environmental Manager team.
Environmental Advisor Responsibilities:
* Act as the environmental advisor on the project.
* Lead/support environmental incident investigations.
* Report site findings and issues to the company environmental manager.
* Ensure all personnel are aware of their statutory environmental duties and responsibilities, providing advice as needed.
* Provide advice, guidance, and coaching to the Project Teams from construction to handover.
* Undertake site inspections, advisory visits, and engagement tours to ensure site compliance.
* Assist in developing the Construction Environmental Management Plan.
* Communicate effectively with presentation and report writing skills.
* Update the Environmental legal register.
* Gather environmental data for contract KPIs to report to the client and the Environmental Team.
* Liaise with and influence staff/operatives at all levels.
* Interpret detailed information and regulations through analytical skills.
* Manage monitoring equipment, collect, process, and interpret data (e.g., water, dust, noise, waste).
* Promote environmental awareness through training, briefings, posters, and other communication methods.
