Job Description
We are hiring on behalf of a world-renowned organisation who are expanding their team. They are seeking an Interim Finance Assistant to provide short-term support in clearing a backlog within project accounting.
This is a flexible role, requiring 1-2 days per week in London.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review project accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Check and validate project expenditure
* Cross-reference financial data against contracts and funding agreements
* Confirm that all payments have been correctly processed
* Support the closure of completed projects by resolving outstanding financial items
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience in a finance or project accounting role
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work through high volumes of data
* Good Excel skills and overall financial systems proficiency
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable:
* Experience working with project-based or grant-funded environments
