Senior Occupational Therapist
Salary : Starting from £36,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location : Handsworth, Birmingham
Hours : Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our clients specialist mental health services, supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions.
About the Role
As a Senior OT, you will :
* Deliver a range of occupational therapy assessments and interventions to promote recovery and wellbeing.
* Lead and coordinate therapeutic programmes, including group and individual sessions.
* Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure service users occupational needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement evidence-based practice using tools such as MOHOST to measure outcomes.
* Support the development of therapeutic activities tailored to individual needs.
* Contribute to service improvement and uphold organisational values of dignity, respect, and empowerment.
What Were Looking For
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* Ability to work core hours (Monday -Friday, 09 : 00 -17 : 00).
