St Mary's CE Primary School (Bridport) is looking for two Teaching Assistant G5 to join our team. This post will involve support for children with Education and Health Care Plans who require additional support to access school life.
Actual Salary £17,082-£17,353 per annum (Grade 5). This job is Part Time - Term Time Only for 30.42 hours per week and 38 weeks per year. It is offered on a Permanent basis. Approximate start date: 22 April 2025.
We are looking for two skilled and dedicated members of staff to join our hard-working team of TAs and HLTA’s.
Essential qualities include discretion, empathy, good personal organisation and communication skills and a desire to see young people achieve their potential. Understanding of learning difficulties, knowledge of subject areas and experience of working with young people in an educational setting will be advantageous.
Interview Date: 28 March 2025. Flexible working is required. A clean driving licence and your own transport is essential for travel across the Trust’s multiple sites and schools.

* Support individual and small group activities under the direction of teaching staff.
* Encourage independent learning and assist with the development of pupils’ literacy, numeracy and social skills.
