This market leading food manufacturer which supplies products into most of the major retailers are seeking a proactive and driven NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety professional to spearhead the H&S agenda across their modern food manufacturing facility. This is a highly autonomous role and as such you will take full ownership of the site H&S agenda – this really is a great challenge for an established H&S employee to make a significant impact in what is a newly created role.
Within this challenging and fast paced role, you will report into the Site Director and be responsible for providing relevant expertise regarding everything Safety, Health and Environmental ensuring Legislation and Best Practice are adhered to, and then moving these systems forward through continuous improvement. A key aspect of this role will be to proactively develop and encourage a positive culture towards Health, Safety and Environmental welfare of all colleagues and identify suitable and sufficient SHE training advice and recommend suitable training resource to achieve this.
