And a lot more... What does this Deputy Manager job involve? As part of the management team:
* You will support the home manager to undertake quality assurance audits and maintain the highest quality of care delivery.
* You will administer medication and coach and mentor the senior team in the application of safe practice.
* You will undertake supervisions, appraisals and development of the team.
* You will work in partnership with all stakeholders and maintain strong relationships with same.
* You will complete statutory notifications and promote an open transparent culture.
* You will work a day shift pattern of 3 x long day one week, 4 x long day the next including one weekend in two, whilst coaching and mentoring the teams you work with.
Qualifications
* Minimum level 3 in Health and Social Care and willing to train to level 4.
* Minimum two years experience working within a residential Care Home for older people and/or as a Field Care Supervisor for community care.
* Valued for your contribution to great care.
