Job Opportunity: Band 6 Chaplain at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Chaplain to join the team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Position Details:
* Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
* On Call Rota participation required
The successful applicant will provide spiritual, pastoral, and religious care to meet the needs of patients, staff, students, and visitors. The post holder will also deputise for the Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide pastoral, spiritual, and religious support respecting diversity and individual equality.
* Uphold and act in accordance with Trust policies, NHS chaplaincy guidance, and UKBHC code of conduct.
* Record assessments of spiritual needs and care delivery in patient information systems following protocols.
* Be aware of their role within the team and the trust’s major incident plan.
* Support the manager in leading and coordinating the chaplaincy and spiritual care team and volunteers.
