Quality Assurance Manager Role
We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to oversee the quality function across our sites. As a guardian of our business, you will ensure compliance with all legal, quality and food safety aspects.
This role will involve leading and developing a small team, managing day-to-day activities, maintaining quality systems, and continuously improving standards. You will also be responsible for monitoring hygiene, quality, and food safety, overseeing product quality, conducting investigations and audits, and implementing HACCP programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the quality function at both Sutton and Manton Wood sites
* Maintain all aspects of the Quality System
* Continuously improve standards by monitoring hygiene, quality, and food safety
* Oversee the quality of all products produced within the business
* Conduct full investigations into complaints and customer technical issues
* Conduct audits with the operations team to drive improvement and monitor GMP in the factory
* Implement and maintain HACCP programs and pre-requisites
* CARRY OUT SUPPLIER VISITS AND AUDITS WHERE REQUIRED
* Lead on all customer visits and third-party audits
* Alert the Head of Technical and Compliance to emerging issues
* Manage product recall and withdrawal processes
Requirements:
* Experience managing QMS to current BRC standards
* Relevant experience in a similar environment with good working knowledge of food manufacturing operating procedures
* Internal Auditing experience and knowledge
* General process and product knowledge
* Knowledge of key legislation relating to the food industry
* Ability to assimilate information to a variety of cultures

Salary:
£40,000-£45,000 per annum
