About the role:
* Comprehensive teaching responsibilities (designing schemes of work, assessing, preparation, delivery, marking, individual student tutoring).
* Designing, developing, and reviewing curriculum materials in line with programme specifications and quality assurance frameworks.
* Delivering engaging and innovative teaching using a variety of pedagogical approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
* Assessing student work in accordance with established criteria and providing timely, constructive feedback to support progress and achievement.
* Monitoring and tracking student performance, implementing appropriate interventions where necessary.
* Contributing to quality improvement processes, including course review, standardisation, moderation, and compliance activities.
* To reflect continuously and improve the quality of teaching and learning within your sessions. Utilising and developing resources to support student achievement.
Essential Experience:
* Teaching or delivering training experience.
* Experience of working with young people.
Essential Qualifications:
* Educated to Level 3 or above and/or hold a professional qualification in the relevant subject area, or equivalent. Alternatively, educated to degree level or above in the relevant subject area, or equivalent.
* Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics, including GCSE grade 4/C or above (or equivalent qualification).
