We are currently seeking an Multiskilled Operative to join a small engineering company, basedon the outskirts ofLincoln. As an Multiskilled Operative, youll be a vital part of the production team, machining, crafting and assembling a variety of steel products in a worksop environment.
This is a great opportunity to join a respected local company. Permanent contracts will be offered to staff after successfully completing the probationary period. This is usually after 12 weeks.
What will I be paid?
Hourly rate: £13:00 - £13.50 per hour.
What hours will I be working?
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
What will I be doing as an Assembly Operative?
* Machining metal components to specifications
* Using mechanical and / or laser saws
* Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and instructions
* Utilising a variety of hand tools, machinery, and equipment
* Reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly
What skills and experience do I need?
* Competent English and numeracy skills
* Experience with tools and equipment
* Experience in assembly, repair, maintenance, manufacturing preferred
* Reliable transport to reach site
