MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: Maintain a full understanding and implementation of Company objectives e.g. Stockroom and Delivery standards Respons ible for opening the store to receive and accept deliveries and on occasion closing the store. Liaise and communicate with the Sto re Manager on a daily basis to ensure understanding of any issues that affect the stockroom and shop floor Ensuring the stockroom is well organised and that Company standards are adhered to and maintained at all times e.g. all stock is tagged, cubed and merchandised to Company standards using specialist equipment when necessary Ensuring all deliveries are processed and productivity targets are consistently met Support team with store inventory counts Actively manage the accuracy of the stock file through identifying and correcting discrepancies, at the point of delivery. Ensuring that the team is aware of any special stock situations, (understocked, overstocked) through effective analysis and communication Liaise with the Store Visual Merchandiser to manage stock to floor procedures in a structured and strategic manner. Taking on Duty Manager and floor leadership responsibilities when necessary.
