* Personal Assistant / Carer
Purpose of the job:
* Female personal assistant required for a young lady who lives in Crewe, CW3 area. Client has autism and is noise sensitive and has anxiety and gets worried around loud noises. These trigger points include, laughing, whistling, some types of music, tv adverts, babies crying and loud children.
Hours and rate of Pay:
* Hourly rate of £12.70
* 8 hours, flexible hours to suit client and pa. (2-4 hour blocks at a time)
* Maternity cover also needed from May 2025 of 16 hours.
Main Duties:
* To look after the client and keep safe, especially when parents are not around. Client enjoys baking, some crafting, helping wildlife animals. Client likes calm dogs, cats and chameleons. Client is loving and thoughtful for others especially though their art.
* Accessing the outdoors and enhancing my love of animals and wildlife
* Some aspects of personal care, like choosing appropriate clothing, helping when not feeling well. Helping make lunch, and hot drinks
* Getting out and about. A car driver would be useful especially when I need help outside of the home, if my parents were not able to help.
Personal Assistant Specification:
* My creative work using the computer including programmes like Photoshop, In-design, Adobe package I am a good at cartoon art and I create books, cards and calendars. The ideal pa would support me with the technical parts.
* Social media platforms to communicate my art and interests whilst keeping my profile safe. This would help promote my ideas and product design ideas. It would also help me to keep connected with friends around the world and locally.
* Fun things and trying out new stuff to build up my confidence
* Keeping in touch with friends and making new ones.
* Enjoying some beauty experiences, I enjoy facials, manicures and pedicures.

* DBS check will be required.
* Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
* My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
* My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
* You must be able to work well independently.
* My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
* The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
