The role
We’re looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a long‑standing manufacturing business based in Rowley Regis. This is a day shift role (Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, with a 1‑hour break), offering a great work‑life balance and the chance to work in a stable, supportive environment.
The position is mechanically biased (around 70%), working on a range of plant and production equipment. You’ll be involved in reactive maintenance on older machinery while helping the team move towards a more planned preventive maintenance (PPM) approach over time. You’ll be supported by colleagues who are strong electrically, so this role would suit someone who thrives on mechanical fault‑finding, repairs, and keeping the plant running smoothly.
