We are seeking a passionate and imaginative Drama Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in West Bromwich. This is a fantastic chance to inspire young people, develop their performance skills and encourage a love for the arts.
In this role you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging and varied drama lessons for students across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Introduce students to a range of performance techniques and theatrical styles
* Prepare pupils for both practical and written assessments
* Create opportunities for students to perform and showcase their work
* Support extracurricular drama activities such as school plays and clubs
We are looking for someone who:
* Has Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
* Brings strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for drama
* Can inspire students of all abilities to achieve their best
* Has excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* Is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
You will work closely with other staff to plan productions, organise performances and develop a strong arts culture within the school. By combining creativity with structure you will help students grow in confidence while achieving academic success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
