Job Description
Are you ready to step into a newly created senior leadership role with genuine authority, visibility, and scope to shape the direction of a growing financial services group? This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the CEO and take ownership of the commercial drivers across a nuanced group structure to drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the SLT, this role will contribute to and influence the wider HR & Operational practices. The business combines strong market reputation with a genuinely people‑first culture, high retention, and an appetite for thoughtful, strategic change. For the right leader, this Head of Business Growth role offers autonomy, influence, and the chance to leave a clear personal imprint.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:
* Driving revenue and business growth by taking control of all areas that contribute to expansion
* Leading and supporting four advisor cohorts through their respective coaches and leads
* Line managing the marketing and acquisitions teams, ensuring strategies align with growth plans
* Building deep relationships across the business, being visible, hands‑on, and present
* Improving advisor engagement, performance, and operational effectiveness
* Strengthening brand awareness and market presence, both internally and externally
* Bringing cohesion to data, systems, and business processes, consolidating fragmented sources for clarity and efficiency
* Identifying and solving problems early, and delivering presentations to the business
* Linking client segmentation and profiling with marketing activity, and celebrating performance wins
* Travelling to key UK offices (Hampshire, Dorset, Buckinghamshire) at least quarterly
About you:
You will be a credible, emotionally intelligent leader who builds trust quickly and brings people with them. You may already be operating at senior level, or ready to step into a broader leadership remit.
You are likely to bring:
* Proven experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams, with a collaborative and coaching‑led style
* Strong sector credibility within financial services, wealth management, insurance or brokerage
* Backgrounds such as Head of Operations, Business Growth Lead or Senior Manager in FS/Wealth/Insurance/Brokerage will be particularly relevant
* Confidence working with data, systems and technology, with the ability to translate insight into action and influence senior stakeholders
* Comfort presenting to groups and building followership across diverse audiences
* Experience with platforms such as Monday or Sophie.AI is advantageous, though not essential
* No mandatory qualifications, but strong commercial and technical capability is essential
What you will get:
* Car allowance of £6,000.
* Bonus up to 10% (5% company + 5% personal).
* Private medical insurance.
* 28 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
* 5% pension contribution.
* Onsite parking.
* Two away training days per year.
* Hybrid working offered, with quarterly travel to key UK sites.
* Huge autonomy to shape a new role, high influence with direct line to the CEO, and exposure to strategic business areas including acquisitions, marketing, and advisor development.
* A stable, reputable business with a strong people‑first culture and ongoing UK and international growth.
