One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to play a vital role in overseeing the data requirements of its prime contract.
Since, The Salvation Army has managed the delivery of specialist support to adult victims of modern slavery and their dependents in England and Wales through the Modern Slavery Victim Care Contract (MSVCC). In partnership with the Home Office and our supply chain partners, The Salvation Army has delivered high-quality accommodation, outreach, and specialist support to over 23, people during the past 12 years.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for managing a team of Data Analysts, supporting the effective delivery of contractual requirements, particularly relating to the collation, and reporting of management information and trend analysis. We’ll also rely on you to oversee the management and use of our case management system (CMS) and manage the secure processes related to the disclosure of data, including Subject Access requests. Building and producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, compiling management review information packs, responding to ad hoc requests for data and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery – these are just some aspects of this interesting and varied role.
You will need:
1. Strong proven experience in the use of case management systems with advanced Excel skills
2. Experience of successful people management and team leadership
3. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to draft and present business cases and reports.
4. Demonstrable experience in contributing to the design and delivery of end-to-end technical process change management.
5. The ability to think critically, creatively and be a solution focussed manager.
6. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, effective time management and the ability to manage competing priorities to respond to tight deadlines.
7. Strong data management and IT skills with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database systems.
8. The ability to develop, implement, document and continuously improve processes, procedures and systems.
9. The ability to travel to work locations within England and Wales, with occasional overnight stays as required.
