The Alliance leads digital communities across product marketing, sales enablement, product-led growth, AI, customer success, and CMOs, with 70,000+ professionals in our communities and a wide range of content, courses, events, and memberships. We are seeking a career-hungry Community Manager to drive growth, foster engagement, and create memorable member experiences.


Responsibilities

* Community Ownership: Collaborate with an experienced Community Manager to grow and engage one community brand, ensuring it remains a hub for connection and knowledge sharing.
* Community Development: Scale our community strategy by crafting engaging initiatives, programs, and events that drive growth and loyalty; use project management tools to streamline workflows.
* Compelling Event Curation: Curate and host a diverse calendar of member events and experiences, shaping focus, format, and frequency to deliver exceptional engagement.
* Innovative Engagement Initiatives: Conceptualise and execute initiatives such as podcasts, webinar series, workshops, and discussion groups, using tools like Asana for project management.
* Relationship Cultivation: Build strong relationships with community members to boost loyalty, engagement, and retention.
* Speaker and Ambassador Management: Source and secure speakers, ambassadors, and moderators to lead initiatives and events with project management oversight.
* Content-Promotion Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to strategically leverage the community for organisational goals, tracking progress with project management tools.
* Trend-spotting: Stay updated on community trends and bring fresh ideas to continually shape and enhance strategy, with efficient project management to keep initiatives on track.


Requirements

* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and hold others accountable to deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present clearly in writing and verbally, including public speaking.
* Tech-savvy, quick to adapt to new apps and technologies; creative problem-solving and proactive idea generation for impactful community results.
* Passion for creating impactful experiences and events that members won’t want to miss.
* Ownership and accountability in workload management and team motivation.
* Adaptability and speed in a startup environment, with a positive attitude toward last-minute challenges and quick learning of new tools.
* Project management skills, including use of tools like Asana to streamline workflows; experience in facilitating connections and moderating online community conversations is a plus.
* Experience building and growing B2B communities and a deep interest in facilitating connections and moderating conversations in a social online community.


Location & Salary

Location: This role is hybrid from our London office or remote within the UK. We are not able to hire anyone residing outside the UK.

Salary: £25,500 to £29,000 (range based on previous experience).
