As a Senior Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Leading design activities to meet programme budgets, milestones and engineering gates
Ensuring all engineering outputs align with internal processes, quality standards and regulatory requirements
Coordinating daily reviews with engineering teams, providing guidance and technical direction
Leading troubleshooting and failure investigations when required
Producing qualification documents and supporting engineering change management
Driving improvements through lessons learned and operational excellence initiatives
As a Senior Design Engineer, your experience will include:
Experience across manufacturing and design processes
Strong development, problem‑solving and technical leadership skills
Proven ability to deliver and report against KPIs
Excellent communication skills across multi‑disciplinary engineering teams
Strong attention to detail with process‑driven working
A degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant engineering apprenticeship (desirable)
