We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and committed individual to join our Single Point of Access Team to deliver improved access and outstanding services for children and young people. The team is pleased to offer a 12-month fixed-term position for a Senior SPA Supervisor. You will join a friendly, nurturing team working in a fast-paced environment. You must hold a professional qualification and have a strong community mental health background, ideally with experience and knowledge of CAMHS or children's services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promote the mental and emotional health of children, young people, and families in the community by understanding their needs, identifying risks, and supporting families in accessing appropriate services.
2. Prevent more serious mental health problems through early identification of development issues.
3. Possess a wide range of knowledge in communication and care management approaches with families, children, and young people.
4. Exhibit excellent communication skills to promote integrated healthcare working both internally and externally.
5. Support the implementation of CAMHS SPA across Buckinghamshire, supporting children and young people in accessing assessment and intervention services.
6. Work towards a culture where services across health, education, and social care collaborate seamlessly to deliver positive experiences for children, young people, and families.
7. Location at The Sue Nichols Centre, Aylesbury, with travel around the county essential.
8. Work in a hybrid model with flexible working patterns, including agile and workplace options.
