Responsibilities
* Work with the people living in the service and the team to ensure high‑quality person‑centred support.
* Monitor the quality of the service, ensuring it is fully compliant.
* Act as an exemplary role model for the team and support their continuous development to maintain high standards.
* Liaise with families and other stakeholders of the people living in the service.
Qualifications & Experience
* Computer literate with experience managing in care.
* Self‑motivation, determination, confidence and a passion for positive change.
* Ability to make difficult decisions under pressure and flexible regarding working days, including early, late, weekend and on‑call duties.
* Experience covering for other service managers in the area during leave.
Leadership
* Strong leadership to achieve high standards of quality and cost‑effectiveness within our services.
* Potential to excel within Mencap’s framework, “Our Leadership Way”.
