Shepherd Neame is seeking a Chef to join our kitchen team. If you are a new or aspiring chef looking for a fresh challenge and to develop your career in the kitchen, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
The Manor Farm Barn, located in Southfleet near Dartford, is a busy pub and restaurant. Originally an 18th-century barn, it was restored in 2001 and became Britain’s first 21st-century thatched pub, winning a CAMRA Pub Design Award. The interior features original oak timbers, two spacious floors, a high ceiling, and ample natural light, creating a welcoming environment to relax, dine, and drink.
We believe that excellent chefs are essential to a successful kitchen. In this role, you will work as part of our friendly and supportive team to deliver a great dining experience to our customers.
Previous catering experience is beneficial but not essential. If you love food, are confident, motivated, and a team player, we can provide training and teach you everything else you need to know.
