We are seeking a highly motivated and technically astute Technical Sales Engineer to work within the Sales team. As a team the responsibilities are: • Identifying and engaging with potential clients • Understanding client needs and providing tailored technical solutions • Overseeing projects from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring high customer satisfaction • Collaborating with internal teams (e.g. engineering, production) to align solutions with technical and commercial capabilities • Producing estimates/quotations • Account management • Customer compliance management • Export control management • Post sales liaisons with customers • Maintaining accurate sales forecasts • Managing and attending exhibitions • Visiting client sites The ideal candidate • Experience in a technical sales role within an engineering or technical environment. • Strong technical background, ideally educated to degree level in engineering or science. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • A consultative sales approach, able to identify needs and propose effective solutions. • Strong organizational skills. • Strong IT skills (MS products, CRM software, Quality/Technical drawings software)
