Industry Sector: Window Blinds, Fabrics, Textile Printing, Roller Blinds, Shutters, Interior Building Products, Installers, Window Blind Manufacturers, fabricators, Installers, merchants and retailers
Area to be covered: West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Mid & South Wales, Gloucestershire and Somerset
Based: Ideally West Midlands
Remuneration: £35,000 - £38,000 + £8,000-£10,000 commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager Blinds and Shutters will involve:
Field sales position selling a manufactured range of components and fabrics for blinds and shutters
Direct sell into small business end users historically
All of your time will be spent selling direct to the trade via: shutter and blind manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors as well as merchants and blind retailers
Inheriting a well-established area only available due to an internal promotion
Currently turning over circa £3m
95% account management role, circa 120-150 active spending customers on patch
Typically three customers per day (some over teams), four days per week, one day working from home/ admin
Majority of your work will be in the West Midlands
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager Blinds and Shutters with:
Must have field sales experience selling direct to the trade
Ideally experience selling into small business end users
Preferably some experience selling into manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands andsub-contractors or well as merchants/ blind retailers
Specific knowledge or blinds, shutters id not required
Our client is very open on field sales product backgrounds
Must be able to plan your own diary
Account management capability/ relationships building skills
Friendly team player with drive and enthusiasm
