About the role
As an NFU Mutual Health and Safety consultant, you’ll be part of a Risk Management Services team that has helped business owners reduce and manage commercial risk for over 30 years.
Health and safety is the main focus of our Risk Management Services, and we’re seeking a skilled Health and Safety Consultant to actively engage in survey work. The team is part of the UK’s largest Risk Management Consultancy, delivering tailored health and safety consultancy services.
You’ll work from home, traveling to clients across Scotland as needed. You’ll have full control over your diary to work with existing clients and generate new work through referrals. Our clients span various industries including commercial, agriculture, retail, estates, and leisure, making each day different.
You’ll establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, other Health and Safety Consultants, and industry and regulatory bodies to ensure effective achievement of goals and promotion of NFU Mutual Risk Management Services.

About you
You have extensive experience as a health and safety professional and are seeking a new challenge at a well-established company.
You possess excellent people skills and a track record of building strong client relationships. You adopt a consultative approach, providing the best guidance and results to clients.
You bring experience in health and safety consultancy and have a background in producing health and safety surveys.
To join our team, you must be:
* Target-driven and accustomed to working towards KPIs.
* A successful health and safety professional with UK consulting experience.
* Chartered IOSH qualified or working towards this.
* Hold a UK driving license.
