Vehicle Technician required in Cheltenham
1. Up to £30-40,000 starting annual salary pending experience/brand accreditation.
2. Performance-related bonus between £6-8,000 per annum.
3. Mon to Fri 8:30am-5:30pm and Sat 8:30am-1:00pm on a rota, paid as overtime.

Our client, a large multi-franchise car dealer group established across Southwest England and South Wales, is currently looking to hire a Vehicle Technician for their busy premium franchise-approved dealership in Cheltenham.
Reporting to the Workshop Controller and working with a large team, as a Vehicle Technician, your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, service, and repair as instructed to the standards laid down by the manufacturer and our client. You need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Workshop Controller as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance. You will need to ensure that quality and health & safety procedures relating to the function laid down by our client and manufacturer are adhered to at all times.
To be eligible, you need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and ideally have at least one to two years of practical experience in a workshop environment as a Vehicle Technician. You will need to hold a UK driving licence, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy main dealer environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Technicians with an active MOT Smart Card or VAG brand accreditation would be highly advantageous to our client, but it is non-essential.
