We're currently working with a leading specialist in the pump and engine sector who are looking for a Mobile Fitter to join their team in the Leeds area, covering both branch and on-site customer locations.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hands-on role, carrying out diesel engine repairs, diagnostics, and pump maintenance. You'll be part of a skilled team, with the chance to develop your expertise in a niche industry while enjoying excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out repairs, fault‑finding, and diagnostics on diesel engine equipment at customer sites and in the workshop.
* Conduct regular servicing of pump fleet equipment.
* Work safely at all times, adhering to PPE and company safety standards.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
* Complete daily vehicle defect reports and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
* Accurately record tasks and job completions via tablet.
Skills & Experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience working with engines or in a mechanical engineering environment.
* Experience on site and in a workshop is beneficial.
* Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new skills and training.
* Full UK driving licence (with 6 points or less).
