Job outline:
* Multi-skilled Engineer with a min 80% electrical bias.
* Apprentice trained or NVQ 4 or 5 or City and Guilds.
* 17th or 18th Edition would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of: 415V 3 phase distribution, process control, PLC’s, sensors, motors, pneumatics,
* PLC knowledge is essential including problem solving and fault finding.
* Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Robotics, Automation, Conveyors, pumps experience would be beneficial.
Typical Duties:
* Reacting to breakdowns, fault finding, and repairing a variety of production machinery.
* Completing planned preventative maintenance.
* Diagnosing faults on motors, sensors, panels and PLC controlled systems.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and project work.
Experience required:
* Experience as an electrical maintenance engineer in manufacturing.
* Able to work individually and as part of a team.
* Comfortable communicating with a variety of people.
* Confident with electrical and mechanical fault finding.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Will have recognized electrical qualifications.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00 rotating
