Overview
Our clinicians are fulfilled by the idea of affecting even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things. This role is based at Luxborough Court School, a purpose‑built school for 150 pupils aged 5–19 with autism. The school features a large sports hall, bespoke 6th‑form suite, therapeutic intervention rooms, extensive outdoor space, a central courtyard garden, and separate secondary and junior playgrounds.
Responsibilities
* Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and, based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.
* Provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to the educational and residential teams around our children.
* Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary clinical team to deliver therapeutic support across schools and children's homes.
* Support the team around a child or young person to provide clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
Qualifications
* Qualified Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC.
* Specialist with proven skills and experience to assess, formulate and support the delivery of therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
* Experience of supporting the team around a child or young person to provide clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
* Confident, engaging and effective, model, guide, leader and trainer.
* Highly organised and ready to take initiative.
* Committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.
