Team/Shift Leader (Customer Service Delivery/Operations)

Salary from £44,000 up to £55,000 (depending on experience) – as well as a strong benefits package and career progression opportunities

What you will be doing
* Drive excellent customer experience which delivers a Top 3 DNO place in Broader Measures Customer Scores (Unplanned Faults and Planned Outages).
* Represent the department at internal Customer Service and Licence meetings, in relation to targets and performance, and provide professional leadership, support and direction to Incident Controllers. Ensure that performance is managed proactively to maximise productivity, team objectives and KPI’s through training and development.
* Lead by example to ensure the incident management team meet regulatory and customer requirements and maximise rewards. Identify opportunities to reduce charges and penalties, reviewing processes as required.
* Influence relationships within Customer Service and Licence departments with the aim of resolving problems and promoting excellent working practices.
* Prepare and monitor appropriate key performance indicators to ensure effective adherence and productivity within Customer Service. Develop and implement agreed solutions to areas of concern.
What you will bring
* Experienced People Manager with excellent negotiation, influencing, communication and people management skills with an ability to manage a 24/7 team effectively and create a positive team culture.
* Ability to devise solutions to problems/challenges involving internal and external customers with effective prioritising and organisational skills.
* Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and a strong customer focus and ability to work to deadlines and agreed SLAs.
* A flexible approach to business change and previous experience in managing Customer / Supplier expectations and to “challenge” in a confident and professional manner.
Minimum Criteria
* Previous experience of managing a large team
* Current Delivery/Operational knowledge and experience
* Dynamic work ethic with a track record of coaching/mentoring and developing your team's performance and outputs
* Knowledge of PowerOn and CRM is preferred
* Network knowledge would be advantageous
* Knowledge of HR processes would be desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office suite essential
