Job Title Logistics Co-Ordinator Responsible to Logistics & Systems Manager Purpose of the job: To ensure the smooth and efficient movement of parts within the supply chain, from the point of origin to delivery to customer. They are responsible for co-ordinating all logistical activities to ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and in good condition. Duties and responsibilities Working proactively as part of a team to ensure customer right-first time and on-time delivery requirements are met. Maintain and sustain a healthy co-operative relationship with the customer, respecting their requirements. Traceability 100% on all working documents. Using MIS, maintain and sustain customer look ahead reports, job status checks and rescheduling of work according to meet customer demands. Job sheet management - checking start dates & machine schedules with supervisors and ensure accurate contract reviews are enclosed. Progress meetings proactive stats for and with treatments, Production meetings and schedules for machines. Dispatch 100% accurate dispatch paperwork, transport requirements, manifest. 100% accurate completed Job Packs. Management of buffer stock. Working with Quality on reject parts and understand the resolutions. Updating customer purchase orders on the Management Information System (MIS). Updating all other associated customer documentation, including material and assembly items, ensuring full traceability. Responsible for all new issue documents and ensuring circulation to appropriate people. Ensuring all Quality AS9100 paperwork is to the required ISO/AS standard. Work with a professional team and handle all logistics related queries. Teamwork work and offer support to others when the need arises. Work to the Continuous improvement and Lean ethos, reflecting this in daily activities. Provide evidence to demonstrate your developing awareness of aerospace sales that are measurable to the customer delivery schedule. Provide accurate and timely sales information for production meetings. Implement the companys Health & Safety Policy in your respective areas on a day-to-day basis. Complete any other reasonable duties required by the company. Work reasonable shift / overtime / flexible hours as requested by the company.
