Responsibilities
* Supervise offshore installation activities, including coordinating installation contractors and vendors, monitoring their performance, ensuring technical integrity, and adherence to QHSE policies and company standards.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting as required.
* Report installation activities progress daily to the onshore office, highlighting milestones, issues, and responding to any additional requests.
* Verify that installation works comply with project specifications and procedures and coordinate the offshore supervision team.
* Serve as the Offshore Company Representative onboard contractor vessels for the decommissioning of fixed platforms offshore UK.
* Provide leadership in working with offshore installation contractors and marine warranty surveyors.
* Monitor and ensure installation activities are executed according to project schedules, review deviations (Management of Change), and propose solutions in coordination with the onshore engineering team.
* Coordinate with the logistics team and onshore yard supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials for offshore installation.
Requirements
* Specific skill sets in offshore installation engineering, especially activities such as load-out, transportation, installation, pre-commissioning, hook-up, and decommissioning of fixed platforms, sealines, umbilicals, flexible lines, subsea structures, and floaters (FPSO, FLNG, etc.).
* Strong knowledge of technologies, vessels, and equipment used in subsea and offshore loading, transportation, installation, pre-commissioning, hook-up, and decommissioning.
* Substantial experience as an Offshore Construction Manager or Company Representative onboard installation vessels for installation and/or decommissioning of fixed platforms, sealines, umbilicals, flexible lines, subsea structures, and floaters.
* Knowledge of international offshore installation rules (e.g., DNV, IMCA) relevant to offshore structures.
* Seagoing experience as an Offshore Construction Manager and/or Company Representative in the offshore installation and decommissioning of fixed platforms, sealines, umbilicals, flexible lines, FPSO, FLNG, and subsea structures.
* Experience in offshore structures' yard preparation for installation, mechanical completion, and load-out is highly advantageous.
* Active participation in project HAZID.
* OPITO certification for UK offshore work is mandatory.
