JOB TITLE: MATHEMATICS LECTURER
LOCATION: KINGS LYNN
HOURS: 30 PER WEEK (0.8 FTE)
SALARY: £24,754 - £31,216 PER ANNUM (£30,529 - £38,500 FTE)
Note: This role may fall under the Government\'s FE Targeted Retention Incentive Scheme.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Functional Skills and GCSE lessons with a focus on helping learners achieve their potential.
* Support learners who may be enrolled on other college courses and who may feel anxious about their abilities, helping them understand and apply maths to their courses and daily life.
* Contribute to a positive learning environment and support the maths team in achieving department goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Evidence of relevant teaching qualifications and experience as indicated by salary placement notes (appointments not normally at the top scale point without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience).
* Ability to work within a team, support flexible working opportunities, and contribute to staff wellbeing initiatives.
* Commitment to safeguarding and compliance with relevant policies.
