Role Contribution
The successful candidate will play a key role in applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, testing, pneumatics, and automation across the business.
Responsibilities
1. Achieve project milestones within specified time frames and budgets.
2. Provide efficient, courteous service/support to customers as required.
3. Coordinate between customers and management to ensure smooth information and material flow.
4. Maintain, repair, and service existing and new equipment in a tidy, safe, and efficient environment.
5. Work with DC Systems, in cleanroom environments, on or with wet process equipment and automated assemblies.
6. Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical, pneumatic, and automation components, parts, and systems.
7. Evaluate, calibrate, and test new or modified equipment circuits and fixtures.
8. Assemble and modify systems according to engineering instructions and manuals.
9. Complete all related paperwork and documentation.
10. Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures of the company and customers.
11. Promote the capabilities of FAST Technologies Ltd.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential: HNC Electrical Engineering, City & Guilds Electrical Engineering, or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering; excellent communication skills; good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience in designing/building electrical control panels; maintaining/troubleshooting industrial control or PLC systems; experience with Siemens TIA platform.
