The Role

Location: Rainham, Essex

Salary: Competitive (commensurate with experience and aligned with the current Pay and Conditions Documents)

Reporting to: Head of Department
Key Responsibilities

Plan and Deliver: Create consistent, effective learning plans that meet the unique needs of all pupils.
*
Engage and Challenge: Use diverse methods and resources to interest and engage students, providing appropriate levels of challenge.
*
Monitor Progress: Use assessment information to plan next steps and provide constructive feedback to students.
*
Environment: Maintain a well:organized, stimulating, and safe learning environment with high standards of behavior.
*
Collaboration: Participate in the departments extra:curricular programs and contribute actively to academy policies.
Person Specification
We are looking for an individual who meets the following essential criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
*
Proven experience teaching across both Key Stages (11:16 school setting).
*
Strong subject knowledge and an understanding of the National Curriculum.
*
A commitment to safeguarding, equality of opportunity, and continuous professional development.
*
The ability to communicate effectively with parents and carers to encourage active participation in the educational process.
