Progression OpportunitiesMy client is a rapidly growing manufacturer and is looking to add an experienced Electrical Projects Engineer to lead hands-on electrical installations and compliance at their Bridgwater site.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver electrical projects from design to commissioning.
Design and install containment systems (tray, trunking, conduit, ladder).
Install and maintain LV distribution systems, ensuring BS 7671 compliance.
Act as site Electrical Duty Holder, ensuring EAWR compliance and electrical safety.
Carry out hands-on tasks including cable work, terminations, and testing.
Support fault-finding, root cause analysis, and maintenance activities.
Keep schematics, inspections, and risk assessments up to date.
Mentor junior electricians and promote a safe working environment.Key Skills
Proven electrical project experience in manufacturing or similar sectors.
Strong knowledge of LV systems, PLCs, VSDs, and safety regulations.
NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition qualified (C&G 2391 desirable).
Practical installation and fault-finding expertise.
Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
Able to work independently and communicate clearly across teams.
