Personal / Home Care Assistant London E3 JOB REF: AJ0126 I am looking for Personal Assistants / Carers to join my support team. Ideally you will have experience of supporting someone with health conditions that lead to acute and chronic pain, and promoting independence. My conditions have a big impact on my physical and mental health and I need support with managing my personal care and healthcare needs each day. I enjoy gardening, it is important to me to get out and connect with nature whenever I am well. It is my way of de-stressing and managing my conditions. It gives me something to focus on, a distraction from pain. You will receive: £14.00-£15.00 per hour subject to experience during your probationary period, rising to £15.00-£16.00 per hour following successful completion of probation, training and competency A pensionif eligible 5.6 weeks per year annual leave pro rata Full certificated training on all aspects of the role Hours available: We have various part time roles available, which can be offered from a minimum of 5.5 hours per week up to 27 hours per week Shifts are typically 8.30am-9.15am, 1.00pm-2.00pm, 6.00pm-7.00pm and 10.00pm-7.00am There is the opportunity to work additional hours on occasions in relation to holidays and sickness Whats Required: Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care, bathing, washing hair and dressing Assist with monitoring oxygen, administration of medication, meal preparation Accompany to appointments and accessing the community Flexibility in working hours is essential, as support is required over a 7 day period, night and weekend shifts may be necessary An enhanced DBS check, the cost will be met by the Employer
