We have multiple positions available in our growing team.

The Role

As a Pensions Administrator with XPS you will:

1. Meticulously update and maintain pension administration databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
2. Efficiently process all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including scanning and logging items.
3. Be the first point of contact for queries from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
4. Deliver exceptional customer service by handling telephone queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
5. Execute precise automated and manual pension calculations.
6. Craft high-quality draft correspondence in response to customer enquiries and oversee the distribution after rigorous checks.
7. Safeguard customers' documents by ensuring their prompt and secure return.
8. With growing experience, take on responsibilities such as updating records like address changes and eventually progress to quality checking.
9. Develop a foundational understanding of client profiles and their respective pension schemes.
10. Contribute to team projects, such as coordinating large-scale communications to scheme members.
11. Collaborate effectively with various departments to provide comprehensive client services, including Pensions Accounts, Payroll, Administration Support, and ITM.
12. Accurately log time spent on tasks to meet both chargeable and non-chargeable targets.

Your profile

13. GCSE grade C/4 in English and Maths
14. Previous experience in a contact centre or phone based office role is preferred, but other customer focussed roles including retail and hospitality will also be considered.
15. Must have full right to work in the UK without restriction and have no CCJ's
16. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
17. Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with customers and handle diverse customer interactions.
18. Demonstrated organizational and planning skills, allowing you to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
19. Proactive mindset with a desire to improve standards, develop new procedures, and enhance working practices.
20. Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally and calmly.
21. Familiarity with CRM software and databases is a plus.
